Module 1: CMMN Fundamentals (2 hours)

Learning Objectives

• Understand CMMN primitives
• Differentiate discretionary vs mandatory workflows
• Recognize when to use case-based PM

Content

1. CMMN Overview (30 min)
   • Case, Stage, Task, Sentry, Milestone, CaseFile
   • Discretionary vs prescriptive workflows
2. Case Lifecycle (30 min)
   • Created → Active → Completed
   • Stage progression with sentries
3. Hands-on Exercise (60 min)
   • Map current project to CMMN primitives
   • Identify discretionary tasks
   • Define entry/exit sentries

Module 2: Artifact Pipeline (2 hours)

Learning Objectives

• Understand four reification stages
• Generate TransitionTokens
• Manage artifact lineage

Content

1. Pipeline Stages (30 min)
   • Cognitive → Intellectual → Product → Capital
   • Purpose and characteristics of each
2. Provenance Gating (30 min)
   • TransitionTokens
   • NoTeleportation policy
   • IFL logging
3. Hands-on Exercise (60 min)
   • Create cognitive artifact
   • Synthesize to intellectual
   • Verify lineage

Module 3: PM-Agent Collaboration (2 hours)

Learning Objectives

• Work effectively with PM-Agent
• Understand task assignment logic
• Know when to override

Content

1. PM-Agent Role (30 min)
   • Task assignment
   • Sentry evaluation
   • Knowledge Base integration
2. Hybrid Teams (30 min)
   • Human vs AI responsibilities
   • Collaboration patterns
3. Hands-on Exercise (60 min)
   • Configure PM-Agent for case
   • Review assignment decisions
   • Practice manual override (justified)

Module 4: Case Lifecycle Management (2 hours)

• Create and manage cases
• Progress through stages
• Complete cases successfully

1. Case Creation (30 min)
   • Define desired outcome
   • Select template
   • Configure members
2. Stage Management (30 min)
   • Entry/exit sentries
   • Discretionary task activation
   • Milestone tracking
3. Hands-on Exercise (60 min)
   • Create pilot case
   • Progress through first stage
   • Document lessons learned

Assessment

• Can create case
• Can manage stage progression
• Can complete case

Certification

Requirements

• Complete all 4 modules
• Pass knowledge quiz (80%)
• Complete pilot case successfully

Certification Levels

• Foundation: Modules 1-2
• Practitioner: Modules 1-4 + Pilot case
• Expert: Practitioner + 5 successful cases
